ASCOTT THAILAND GIVES A HELPING HAND TO THE COMMUNITY

Bangkok, Thailand, 25  May 2020 – The management and staff from the Ascott, Somerset and Citadines properties in Bangkok collaborated to supply over 200 survival bags of dry goods and necessities to families at the Khlong Toey Slum community.

 

All 10 properties in Bangkok have also been assisting their local communities over the past few months, donating masks and provisions to organizations including the Foundation for Slum Child Care, Foundation of Blind Thailand and providing for the local blessing boxes.

 

In addition, our 2 properties in Sri Racha donated dried food and water to Sawan Prathip Association to assist over 100 families.

 

Ascott’s Country General Manager for Thailand & Laos, Mr Brian Tan, said:

 “During these trying times, with the impact that COVID-19 has had on families and individuals, we are pleased to assist with contributing back to the community, which is part of our mission as a company.  We hope that the efforts and tangible gifts will bring some smiles and make a difference to the people who were helped”.
