TikTok invites users in Thailand to participate in the #MTVEMARedCarpet challenge and win exclusive MTV swag
Melophiles, listen up! TikTok, the short-form video app with a mission to spread creativity and bring joy, is proud to be the official red carpet partner for this year’s MTV EMA Music Awards. On November 9, 2020, get ready for a night of jaw-dropping performances from the hottest artists and celebrate the power of music in style.
Fans can also look forward to seeing their favourite local artists and nominees for Best Southeast Asia Act 2020 including Agnez MO (Indonesia), K-Clique (Malaysia), Ben&Ben (Philippines), Benjamin Kheng (Singapore), Violette Wauthier (Thailand), and Jack (Vietnam).
Bringing the red carpet glamour to fans all across Thailand, TikTok is also giving users the chance to live out their red carpet dreams by doing the following:
- Create a video of yourself in your best red carpet look and strike a creative or funny pose
- Download and use the red carpet green screen here for a more immersive experience
- Post your video along with the #MTVEMARedCarpet and tag @mtvasia
The top 10 most creative entries will be announced on November 12, 2020 and will each stand to win an exclusive MTV EMA 2020 swag bag worth USD 200. To kick things off, many popular Thai creators have participated in the challenge and showed off their best poses.
